Cookies & similar storage
What this website stores in your browser, and what it does not. Effective 14 September 2026.
The short version
This website uses essential storage only. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, social media trackers, fingerprinting or any other non-essential tracking technology, and we do not share browsing data with advertising networks.
Because there is nothing optional running, there is nothing for you to accept or reject beyond acknowledging our notice. That is why you will not see an “accept all” or “reject all” choice here — offering one would imply optional tracking exists when it does not.
What cookies and similar storage are
Cookies are small files a website can store in your browser. Similar technologies — local storage and session storage — let a site keep small amounts of information on your device. The rules that apply to cookies apply to those technologies too.
What we actually use
- Cookie notice preference — a single value called verdenza:cookie-notice-v1 stored in your browser’s local storage once you dismiss our notice, so we do not show it on every page. It contains no identifier and is not sent to us.
- Strictly necessary site and session functions — storage our hosting platform needs so pages load correctly and, where a signed-in area is used, so a session can be maintained securely.
Our hosting and email providers also keep ordinary server logs, such as IP addresses and request records, to deliver and secure the site. That is covered in our privacy notice.
What we do not use
- no analytics or measurement cookies;
- no advertising, retargeting or conversion-tracking pixels;
- no embedded social media trackers;
- no profiling of visitors and no automated decision-making about you based on browsing.
If that changes in future
We may later want to measure how the site is used, or to advertise. If we do, no analytics or advertising technology will be activated before you have given valid consent through an appropriate consent mechanism, and you will be able to change or withdraw that consent afterwards. This page will be updated before anything new is switched on.
How to clear or block storage
You can delete cookies and site data, or block them, in your browser settings — usually under Privacy, Security or Site settings. Clearing data for this site will also remove our cookie notice preference, so the notice will appear again on your next visit. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop parts of the site working as intended.
